| 1. Special Orders | |||||||
| – Alicia Muchowski, Dinah McCain, and Parvinder Kaur had submitted applications for membership. After discussion, their memberships were approved by unanimous vote. Alicia and Dinah were present and inducted. Welcome!!! Parvinder will be inducted at a later meeting. | |||||||
| 2. Minutes of the previous two regular meetings were reviewed and approved. | |||||||
| 3. Reports from club officers and committees | |||||||
| Officer Reports: | |||||||
| Treasurer – Tina Soriano distributed copies of the club’s proposed annual budget as it was agreed upon at the most recent officers meeting. A copy was shared on screen for online attendees. Tina presented the budget detail. The budget was approved by vote of the members. | |||||||
| Education – Melanie Stark went over the meeting roles for next week. She also distributed copies of the scheduled meeting role assignments for August and September. Copies will be emailed to the club at large this week. | |||||||

| 7. Announcements: | |||||||
| – Club officer training (D39) has been attended by 6 out of 7 officers. [The remaining scheduled officer trainings will be August 11 and 13 (two parts); and August 15. A minimum of 2 hours is required. Registration is online at district39.org] | |||||||
| – We will have a special meeting July 25. This will be an open house for residents of The Park. The meeting is being organized by Melanie Stark. Please be sure that the guests (residents) have adequate seating. | |||||||
| – Membership dues for October 2023 through March 2024 can be paid by July 31 at the rate (+3 convenience fee), avoiding the upcoming dues increase (). Dues can be paid online through the Speaking Machine club website. (Not through the Toastmasters International website.) | |||||||
